A New Paradigm for Cruising

Download Screen Savers

We’ve finally figured out how to make some of our photos available as screen savers. There is a test collection now available.

Clicking on the link below will take you to a web page where you can download high res copies. These can be downloaded 1920 pixels in width, and should fill your computer screen. If this works as intended, we’ll periodically change the collection, so check back on occasion. We would appreciate your comments on how this is working.

Note: moving your cursor (mouse) over the large image will bring up a dialog box with download options. Click on the size you want to download. Clicking on the small image to the left will cause it to display in the right hand, large box, where the download size choice can be made.

Click here to go to our high res screen saver page.

I’ve always coveted a hi-res copy of Beowulf during her NZ sea trials, with 2 shy red asymmetric spinnakers – now that would make a great desktop….

It’s too bad that the picture of Beowolf screaming under twin chutes “down” the picture is the wrong aspect ratio for most screens. Maybe if you posted that one I’d have a good excuse to get a portrait-capable monitor…

    Hi Ward:
Need to rescan those Beowulf slides to get the res high enough. In the fall we will post some of these.

“The 83ft-long (25m) wave-piercer...could easily be mistaken for the spawn of the Royal Navy with its unpainted battleship grey, all-aluminum body. But that day, in those conditions, it was the only boat that I would have wanted to climb aboard to face the English Channel.” --Motor Boat & Yachting
