It is wonderful to see that someone cares enough about this elegant lady, I guess I’m glad it’s not me. I do so enjoy to see her. Dorade was renovated in Italy a few years back and this I did appreciate as she spent many years in Seattle and I wish we could have her backOCEANIS was in Anacortes for many years, first in the water without paying moorage and then deteriorating on the hard without paying storage fees. The yard enventually had an excavator crush her to death. It made me sick to my stomach. Which does make your photographs of the Fife beauty all the more special, THANKS.

“The 83ft-long (25m) wave-piercer...could easily be mistaken for the spawn of the Royal Navy with its unpainted battleship grey, all-aluminum body. But that day, in those conditions, it was the only boat that I would have wanted to climb aboard to face the English Channel.” --Motor Boat & Yachting
