That indicates it is likely to continue straight.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"RAdar-Trails-100.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/setsail.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/RAdar-Trails-1001.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"RAdar-Trails-100.jpg\" width=\"576\" height=\"458\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Off the starboard bow is an isolated target without a trail. Whatever this is, it is not moving. A quick glance at the chart tells us \u00a0it is a small island off the headland.<\/p>\n<p>We leave trails set to true, in other words what the target creating the trail has been doing. The other setting, relative, shows the trail relative to our movement.
