One of the prerogatives of cruising is changing your plans – so when Playa de Cocos, the fist port of entry into Costa Rica hove into view, we decided to stop. We’ve been pushing the schedule a bit hard and it is time to chill out. So with the big Bruce anchor firmly planted in the bottom, we’re going to hang loose for a few days before continuing on to Panama. Besides, we need to spend a day or two checking over the rig and engine room, and it is much nicer (and cooler) here than further south.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
