As the engines are new and in their break-in period, we are running a little harder than normal.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The photo above is at 12.5 knots. We have been checking motion and stabilizer programming. The ride is very soft, and it should not take a lot of effort\u00a0on the stabs.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"_DSC5094.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/setsail.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/DSC5094.jpg\" alt=\"DSC5094\" width=\"1100\" height=\"415\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>All systems are operating now. Those of you who know yacht building will realize what an achievement this is for the Circa team. From the diesel boiler and the heating system, to air conditioning, charging gear, and electronics, it is all working.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"_DSC5098.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/setsail.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/DSC5098.jpg\" alt=\"DSC5098\" width=\"1100\" height=\"806\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There will be bugs of course, that is what sea trials are about, but early indications are this will be a relatively painless process.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"_DSC5105.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/setsail.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/DSC5105.jpg\" alt=\"DSC5105\" width=\"1100\" height=\"734\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the \u201cI would not do that again\u201d category is the TV lift system. It is totally unnecessary. The TV in its lowered position works great.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"_DSC5106.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/setsail.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/DSC5106.jpg\" alt=\"DSC5106\" width=\"1100\" height=\"734\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The helm layout works well. And we are liking the Simrad gear so far.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"_DSC5134.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/setsail.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/DSC51341.jpg\" alt=\"DSC5134\" width=\"1100\" height=\"653\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A night entry into Whangamumu and <em>Cochise<\/em> gets to show off her booms and flopper stoppers.
