Maybe we’ve been a little hard on the Scots about their weather. Can’t do much about it, so we have learned to ignore the wet and wind and enjoy the brief periods of sunshine.<\/p>\n

When the sun does come out, and there is a bit of shape to the clouds, the images can be breathtaking.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
As these two photos of Tobermory reveal.<\/p>\n

A few hours (or minutes) later it could be blowing a gale.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The Scots don’t let a little wind and rain keep them from the beach, so we figured to adopt the same approach.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It may be breezy, but the kids don’t seem to mind.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
This small fish net is a big seller in the Tobermory toy store and is now a permanent part of our cruising gear.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Grandma keeps an eye on things.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
