Combination Oven – First Production Run

A-Coruna4-1.jpg

The crew of Wind Horse are starting to read the manual on the Panasonic combination oven. This little oven does some amazingly efficient things.

It uses a combination of microwave, convection cooking, and broiling, for very fast and  power efficient results. Take the quiche above. Normally this would take half an hour in our propane oven. Last night, fifteen minutes. More experimentation to follow.

Hello Dashews, I have been away from your site for a month or so. I had no idea that you were back at sea. I look forward to reading about your adventures. Any chance that you will cruise the eastern seaboard this season? The pictures and description of Avatar are amazing. Congratulations!!
