Crazy Mouse Syndrome and How To Fix It

crazy-mouse-fix.jpg

If you are running a Windows computer you may have encountered crazy mouse syndrome. This occurs when the computer thinks the GPS signal is a serial mouse. Here is how we have dealt with this in the past:

  • Turn off the GPS t o stop the uncontrolled mouse activity.
  • Got to START.
  • Open CONTROL PANEL
  • Choose the SYSTEM option.
  • Select the HARDWARE tab.
  • From the HARDWARE tab select DEVICE MANAGER as shown above.
  • Open MICE AND OTHER POINTING DEVICES.
  • Find the MICROSOFT SERIAL BALLPOINT item, right click on it, and disable it.

This sounds complicated, but is actually pretty straight forward.

    It does Carlos:
Mac Mini running Fusion for navigation, Imac for photos and video, also running Fusion with our PC design programs, and a MacBookPro as backup.
