We always enjoy running into one of the "family". In this case we are sharing another anchorage with the Deerfoot 2-62 Epicurus. For a 25-year-old design we think she looks pretty good.

Speaking of family, Sarah and Vera arrived from Nassau on this very cool Maule float plane (if Steve had a power plane, it would be a STOL equipped Maule).

Always interested in ground tackle, we snapped this photo of a Danforth type. This is a favored pick in this part of the world as the thin sand over hard pan does not allow a much room for a plow type to dig in (our ROCNA is working very well).

If you look closely at the forward end of the wind shield around the flying bridge you will note the "door" is closed. It is so breezy this high above the water that most meals require this step in wind reduction – at least if you are having salad, since the lettuce tends to blow off the plates. If we are just lounging we leave it open as the breeze is then welcome.

The kids’ visit leads to a trip to "Thunderball Cave" made famous in the James Bond film of the same name. At low tide the entrance is open, and if this coincides with local noon, the hole in the top admits sunlight.

The fish are used to posing for tourists.

Vera snapped these shots from the float plane as they were preparing to land.

The end of the day led to the following two sunset photos. We could not decide which we looked better so we are including both.
