(Part 2) NE breeze makes for a nice tight reach to Grenada.
12’29N 64’50W – Wind has stayed NE all afternoon, in the 11 to 14 knot range. Fax charts come through showing a huge gap in the isobars. Thank you god! Forecast is for more of the same – breeze should stay NE until we close with the coast. And then a day or so after we arrive it looks to blow really hard for a while when high pressure system now to the north drops down over us.
BEOWULF is cutting through the small seas and left overslop with hardly any disurbance – making 10 to 10.5 knots right for the south end of Grenada.
