Maybe we’ve been a little hard on the Scots about their weather. Can’t do much about it, so we have learned to ignore the wet and wind and enjoy the brief periods of sunshine.
When the sun does come out, and there is a bit of shape to the clouds, the images can be breathtaking.

A few hours (or minutes) later it could be blowing a gale.
The Scots don’t let a little wind and rain keep them from the beach, so we figured to adopt the same approach.
It may be breezy, but the kids don’t seem to mind.
This small fish net is a big seller in the Tobermory toy store and is now a permanent part of our cruising gear.
Meanwhile, Grandma keeps an eye on things.
