I have a Rasmus 35 and I am having problems with the toerail being loose from its screws…and am finding it difficult to extract the loose screws…any suggestions?
Hi Joe: When you say the screws are loose, I assume they are not corroded into the toerail. This being the case, usually a sharp pick can be used to lever them out. If they are corroded into the toerail and won’t turn, we’ve had good luck with a propane torch, heating the screw heads (which helps to break the corrosion free) and/or using an impact driver to break them free.
