Although halloween is primarily a US holiday, it has been adopted by cruising kids around the globe. Here in Playa Francesa, Canary  Islands, the kids are out early trick or treating.

Aboard Wind Horse we are prepared with chocolates, nuts, and other goodies to keep the fairy princesses, avatars, and ninja warriors, happy.

By early afternoon it is time to head for the beach for yet another social event.

As guests arrive clothing is carefully arranged.

And many megabytes of photos are taken.

If there is a prize for most energetic (or cutest) bunny, we know who will win.

Meanwhile the adults are rocking to a monster mash music mix.

There are cool cats here complete with Velcro ears.

The adult costumes at Playa Francesa are reminiscent of the West Hollywood Halloween scene in their elegance and creativity.
