If you spend much time going to the beach with your dinghy you are going to want to consider a set of wheels. Eventually you will find that bigger wheels are always better.
Granted they are ugly, but bigger is always going to work better.
Here is a sequence of photos walking the boat out to deep water. The bow is floating but the stern is still supported by the wheels.
These folks are tilting up their wheels before proceeding. Others find it easier to just power off into deep water.

Had these years ago. At slack water they tend to bump and mark the hull sides. The solution is to have white tires.
