The FPB 64 awning support frame was engineered to simplify the installation of enclosure panels, and the fourth boat, Osprey, is the first to make use of this facility.
The surrounding Isenglass (Lexan) is unobtrusive, and if you are in rain or heavy spray, the protection will be most welcome.
There are bug screens on the openings.
Including the doorway into the flying bridge.
We are very pleased with the look. At a moderate distance it is hard to tell the enclosure is in place.

Very nice indeed. Great for inclement weather, or high-latitude cruising.
Those floats add a certain something to the look of the boat…..
On a trivial but related note, is there any locking storage space on the flying bridge? A place to put binocs or whatever out of sight when down below?

Hi Rick:
The floats are required by the NSW Maritime authority. So far we have not worked in lockable storage on the flying bridge. But it would not be difficult given the table and control station.
