The holiday mood is upon the land and as Circa is taking a well earned (but short) vacation break we will follow suit. Assuming that at some point holiday cheer and endless football will leave you in need of a change, we’ve added to our collection of slide shows. You can view the most recent, on Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and Labrador by clicking here .
For a sampling of what you will find on a cruise through Norway click here .
Or, if you are behind on your visits to SetSail continue reading this blog for links to lots of other streaming videos and slide shows.
we are starting to place high definition versions of these photos on our video server. If you have a fast enough Internet connection you can absorb these therapy sessions on a high def big screen TV.
The photo above of the grey whale spouting off alongside Wind Horse is in Magdalena Bay on the Baja, California coast (Mexico). Baja and the Sea of Cortez has always been a favorite of ours. Click here to see why.
A different Magdalena, this one a fjord in Svalbard, can be observed by clicking here. Magdalena Fjord is truly one of the most spectacular visual treats on this planet, perhaps the most beautiful place we have ever been. These cool photographs are a good prescription for the fever that often comes on as football season nears its end and your body panics at the all to real concept of four months until the NCAA basketball tournament (for those of you where a different form of roundball is booted about this is akin to the depression which sets in after a World Cup final).
Prefer a warmer antidote? Then we will take you through another favorite of ours, the Bahama Islands. Friendly locals, exquisite warm water (see above as a start), great snorkeling, and hundreds of lovely anchorages. Click here to fulfill this prescription.
We have yet another slide show, this one of our favorite Wind Horse photos (at anchor and at sea). These can be watched by clicking here.
Finally, if you click here you will find slide shows of the FPB 64 construction, along with exterior and interior photos of the FPB 83, all in glorious high definition (if you have a fast internet connection).
We’ll be updating our winter cure photos over the next four weeks so check back frequently for your medicine.

Steve & Linda,
A winter blues cure indeed…. it’s “chisel your car out from an ice sheet” season here in Ontario, with the boats all packed up long ago, so anything relating to summer and/or cruising is greatly appreciated.
I’ve been following your articles here since Wind Horse was launched, and while my taste in boats at present is quite different from yours, I share much of your design philosophy and appreciate the attention to detail and the carefully thought out design features you’ve been sharing on this site. The photo essays alone are a great incentive to get out there and get cruising….
Merry Christmas to both of you, and to the readers 🙂

Thanks for the fantastic photos. They were a nice diversion from an otherwise boring day in the markets. Happy Holidays. Larry
