Warderick Yet Again

One more report from Warderick Wells – this time with an underwater angle.

Wind Horse anchored at Warderick Wells

Warderick is one of those places we could stay a long time, if the itch to travel would abate. Hanging out an extra couple of days allowed us to experiment with our little Olympus submersible camera. This is not a hard core photographers piece of gear. Rather, it has limited capabilities, and the photos which follow are a tribute to what lies below the surface of this special place, the clarity of the water, and the farsightedness of having moorings rather than allowing anchoring (which would destroy the coral).

There is not a lot to be said about these photos, so we’ll just stick them up for your viewing pleasure.

We’re headed North now, for the Abacos, and a different type of Bahamian cruising.
