We are headed today towards Nanotorolik, referred to by one of our tourist oriented guide books as a "jewel" of a village. We’ve got clear conditions on our inside track, but just offshore a layer of fog is playing hide and seek with the bergs.

By now we are used to this.

And even in the thicker fog, our stress levels remain low.

We have enough experience by now with the Furuno 2117 radar to understand that it will show us even the smallest growlers, as long as the wind remains light.

Our route takes us from outside to inside channels, and the fog begins to lift.

Light is weak and visual contrast poor, but the surrounding mountains are so spectacular that they give a good account of themselves.

There is not a lot to say about the rest of these images, so we will just paste them into this file and let you enjoy them.
