    What a great photo, it could easily be a painting.

    Thanks for the good wishes of a prosperous new year. We are going up to the “Blue Heron” [Mooloolaba, Qld, Aust] to get it ready to sell. Then
    focusing on creating the wealth required to have one of your designs to explore with.

    I look forward to further inspirational posts.

    Hi Bo:
    Use the search function on SetSail and it will bring up numerous real world examples with photos. Bottom line, we would not be without sonar for close in work. Great for areas with spotty (or no)charts and tucking into tight anchorages.Offshore we use it as a forward looking depth sounder with head tilted 10 degrees up from vertical but the dome retracted. For containers it is useless.
