The Deerfoot 74, Interlude, is back on San Francisco Bay. Katie and Kurt Braun have seen 55,495 miles slip quietly under their keel since acquiring Interlude in Fort Lauderdale in April of 2000.
They cruised the West Coast for two years before setting off on their eleven year circumnavigation, done entirely on their own.
We have had the pleasure of sharing anchorages with the “Ludites”, as we call them, in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand, the Med (above),
the Canary Islands (above), and most recently in Maine (first two photos).
Of course this is only part of Interlude‘s long cruising history. She has now completed 2 circumnavigations and cruised 150,000 miles since launching.
Katie and Kurt have a website where you can share their adventures.

Hi,
I’m in San Francisco and would love to check out Interlude. Can you share the Marina/city that its located at so we can see the boat?
Thanks,
Brian

Right you are, Dave, and you should know since you were aboard on the trip from Lauderdale to CA (have we got this right now?).
