Programming Maretron NMEA 2000 System

FPB-65-1Programming-100

Sunday we commented on the time it had taken to program the Maretron system. The data indicated was in error. It appears that Circa has spent around 40 hours so far on the programming.

One of the reasons this has taken so long is that device connected to the system which we monitor or alarm has to be addressed – and there are a lot of these. Nav gear which is NMEA compliant is virtually automatic to connect.

The system allows for tremendous flexibility in how data is presented and Owners who are comfortable with computers will have a great time fine tuning the system.
