Your correspondent checking the helm chair position.
The helm chair is slid aft here. Notice the throttle position. Everyone is anxious to see how Cochise goes.
Brendan and IanĀ are testing the table to seat relationship.
The table is positioned so you can slide between it and the seat, making ingress and egress easier.
There is always a tradeoff between access, eating, and lounging. We have biased towards the latter.
Settee cushion design. A good alignment job like this takes enormous skill and time.
The last of our great room windows being installed.
We will close with the above layout of lifeline hardware.

Hi Steve,
Looking at the helm layout it appears that there are two thruster toggle switches, are you fitting a stern thruster to Cochise?
Best wishes and looking forward to the day Cochise hits the water.

Howdy Andrew:
The only proportional control made by sidepower has bow and stern thruster control switches. However, are not fitting a stern thruster.

Hey Dashew and Circa crews, the progress pics are great, cant wait to see Cochise in the water! As nubie, I have a question. Why is the helm position on the port side instead of the starboard side?

Hello Rico:
If the great room helm were the only one we would lay the area out with the helm to starboard,to optimize the view towards the danger zone. However, the primary helm is on the Matrix deck, and the great room helm has excellent view.

Steve thanks for the reply (you made my daughters day she is only 9 but loves your boats especially Windhorse), after looking at the layout in the great room I realised that the layout is centred around/keeping an eye on the big screen while under way if you were conning from the great room, while making a bite to eat when on watch. An amazing legacy that you guys have created, long may it continue!
