A quick couple of photos of Cochise at cruise, taken from FPB 64-11 (both FPBs are undergoing sea trials).
The first photo is at 2/3rds payload doing 10.7 knots.
Second photo shows Cochise at 13.25 knots. No surprises so far.

I’m guessing a Top speed of 14.7Knts
Awesome work, Awesome ‘small ship’ a name what seems fitting for vessel of this calibre!

Steve,
Looking at the second photo at the higher speed, the boat seems to trim down at the stern a touch. Is this because of dynamic lift? Or other reasons?
Henry.

Hello Henry:
The trim and speed equation is complex. Ideally there us little or no aft trim. But to accomplish this requires more surface area aft which makes for a harder ride and less heavy weather capability.

Steve,
And the stern wake disturbance certainly is greater as the stern digs in at the higher speed.
I don’t think I could ever design anything – the trade offs would drive me nuts. 🙂

Yes Henry, the tradeoffs drive us nuts too.

What is the apparatus on the aft end of the aft deck cover/solar array? Is it a TV antenna?

Hi Cedric
That large aft antenna is for the Iridium Pilot Satcom.
