Stan and Valerie Creighton have shepherded Buffalo Nickel over to Vanuatu this season, in part to lend a hand in the ongoing rescue efforts after the damage wreaked by Cyclone Pam.
They’ve written a beautifully detailed post about their experiences, along with interesting advice on provisioning/preparing for cruising in undeveloped areas. You can read it and see lots of photos on their blog.

Anyone wishing to see pictures of some of the things we accomplished in Vanuatu can go to http://stancreighton.smugmug.com/Vanuatu/n-5MFfT4/ and view some of our favorites. Captions below each pic. It was a very humbling and rewarding experience for us. We are now in Cairns, Australia getting ready to leave for Indonesia, where we will spend the rest of the season. But first we have to replace some of the frozen herbs confiscated by Australian Biosecurity!

Thank you so much for sharing this with us. These people need our help according to our abilities. All of us, even if it is just monetary for now.
I am glad to be able to donate to Sea Mercy and hope to make a more meaningful contribution in the future, and hope that other SetSailors will consider it as well.
